Network and Servers

TUnet, the extensive communication infrastructure of TU Wien, is a campus network that comprises different structural elements from backbone to TUwlan, including a complex network infrastructure.

TUvpn Encrypted access to TUnet via the Internet.
TUwired Connection of network-compatible devices.
TUwlan Unbound but connected.

Our service firewalls totally protect the TUnet against the usual attempted attacks from the internet. It is also an important component of implementing TU Wien's data protection strategy.

Our TUhost, Server Housing, TUsystemSupport for Servers and TUiScsiBackupDisk (backup storage) services provide you with an all-inclusive worry-free service package for your servers.
