These instructions only apply to accounts belonging to TU employees, other staff members, assigned persons, and external employees. If you would like to change the password for a student account, please follow the corresponding instructions.
In these instructions, we will show you how to change your three central TU Wien passwords. Please note that passwords in institute systems cannot be managed using this method.

On January 30, 2026, all passwords at TU Wien were reset. This also applies to passwords that were recently changed.
If you have an ID Austria, you can set a new password using these instructions.
If you do not have an ID Austria or if the login does not work, please contact your address manager.
