Online Account Management
For some servers and services, an account can be requested, extended or deleted online:
Features
- Own accounts (apply, extend, change, delete)
- For account authorised people: list of accounts at the institute
- For account authorised people: share account requests
- For account authorised people: create and list WLAN guest accounts and conference accounts
Notes on account approval
Each application must be approved by an account eligible person of the institute. This confirmation is necessary to ensure that the application has been made in agreement with the Institute's Board. Also account changes (extensions, deletions) must be confirmed.
Account approvers can be named by the OE leadership (online, opens an external URL in a new window).
The Board of Directors and the account approver acknowledge that it is their responsibility to comply with:
- the "TUnet usage regulation"
- the "Data Protection and Information Security Directive" of the Vienna University of Technology,
- and the "ACOnet Acceptable Use Policy" (http://www.aco.net/aconet-aup.pdf)
and bring this to the attention of the applicants. If personal data is processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act, TU.it must be informed.
