Shutdown of the old KMS system (activation for LTSC Office and Windows)

After the new activation has been put into operation and the announced transition phase has ended, the old system will be shut down.

As announced in the news release dated May 7, the activation of LTSC versions of Microsoft Office and Windows has been renewed. After almost two months of parallel operation, the old activation method will be deactivated on June 30, 2025. From this date onwards, LTSC versions of Windows and Office can only be activated on Windows using the new activation script.
