Maintenance work on switches

On Monday, December 22, 2025, and Tuesday, December 23, 2025, between 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., numerous switches will be restarted as part of an urgently needed software update.

This will result in an approx. 10-minute outage of all TUnet services in the affected areas, i.e., TUphone, Access, WLAN, media technology, access systems, etc.

The restart of the devices will be closely monitored.

The following areas will be affected:

All areas of the main building on Karlsplatz (A)
The BF wing on Getreidemarkt
Part of the building at Erzherzog-Johannplatz 1 (FB)
The Favoritenstraße campus (H)
The building at Argentinierstraße 8 (EA)
