Network Outage in buildings AF and AH (Karlsplatz 13) reported to June 14 and 15, 2022

Due to planned demolition works in AFU1 (Karlsplatz 13, Panigltrakt), a locally contained network outage is necessary on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 14 and 15, 2022, in order to relocate a cabinet containing sensitive network components. The outage was originally planned on June 7 and 8, 2022, but has been rescheduled due to technical reasons. This will affect the following building parts: AFU1, AFEG, AHEG, AHZE, AH01.

To ensure their integrity and safety during the minor demolition works, our active network hardware components will be turned off and relocated as well as the cabinet, so as to protect them from damage.

This will affect devices in the building parts AFU1, AFEG, AHEG, AHZE, AH01, including HS 7 Schütte-Lihotzky, Sem 8 and TU.it internet room AHZE03.

Following network services will be unavailable during the outage:

- Computers, Printers, etc.

- Landline Phones

- WLAN

- Lecture hall network outlets and media devices within AH and AF

- Cameras
