Maintenance of server housing network on December 30, 2025 (locations BAU1G18, BCU2A18, DC02E02, HBEG02, ZEU109)

On Tuesday, December 30, 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., software upgrades will be performed on the TU Wien server housing network. During this period, you may experience connection interruptions of approximately 5-10 minutes for components housed at the server housing locations BAU1G18, BCU2A18, DC02E02, and ZEU109, as well as in HBEG02.

Due to a software problem, it is necessary to install software upgrades on several switches in the TU Wien server housing network and restart them. During the aforementioned period, there will therefore be a connection interruption of approximately 5-10 minutes to your components located at the sites listed below while the switches are rebooting. Connections configured as LACP bonds will not be affected as long as they are connected to different switches.

No changes to your end systems are necessary.
