Network restructuring work

Announcement of network restructuring work from Wednesday, January 21, to Friday, January 23, 2026 (expected), with effects in areas BA07-BA11

As part of renewal work and the consolidation of our network infrastructure, our distribution room BA09D19 is due for restructuring.

This restructuring will affect connections on floors 7 to 11 in the Plus-Energie office tower, Getreidemarkt 9 (BA).

In the course of the restructuring, the following planned interruptions will occur gradually for each connection with a time delay:

  • Computers and network-enabled devices (printers, etc.), media technology: expected connection outage of up to approx. 30 seconds.
  • Telephones: expected outage of up to 3 minutes per device.
  • Electronic access systems: expected downtime of up to 30 seconds.
  • Cameras: expected downtime of up to 5 minutes.
  • Wi-Fi: expected downtime of up to 3 minutes for each access point.

The outages are expected to last all day from Wednesday, January 21, 2026, to Friday, January 23, 2026.
