Maintenance work on the internet connection at TU Wien, ASC (VSC)/EODC, CSH

Maintenance window: Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

As part of the UDN2025 collaborative network infrastructure project between TU Wien, the University of Vienna, and the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), it is necessary to migrate existing fiber-optic links to new connections.

During the specified maintenance window, there may be brief service disruptions (internet connectivity) until the system has been switched over to redundant network paths.

Affected are the primary connection of TU Wien to ACOnet, as well as the uplinks of the Austrian Scientific Computing (ASC, formerly VSC) and the Earth Observation Data Centre (EODC). Additionally, the connection of the Complexity Science Hub (CSH) and MUSICA project uplinks are affected.
