Firewall maintenance work

Software update on September 16 and 17, 2025

Dear colleagues and students,

we would like to inform you that we will be performing a software update on our firewall systems on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During the software update, a brief interruption in data traffic cannot be completely ruled out. Please avoid business-critical or time-sensitive tasks during this period and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Our team has taken all necessary measures to minimize the impact on network functionality. We are continuously monitoring the update process to ensure that all services are available quickly and reliably. Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you have any questions or encounter any problems after the update, please contact us immediately at noc@tuwien.ac.at.
