Settling in, getting off to a great start, feeling part of the community: Welcome Days at TU Wien

Starting your studies brings with it lots of questions, new experiences and lots of people you are yet to meet. To ensure a successful start at TU Wien, the TU Wien Welcome Days will take place for the first time in September 2026.

The Welcome Days offer Bachelor's, Master's and PhD students the opportunity to get to know TU Wien, their degree programmes and life in Vienna better. Through concise talks and numerous opportunities to meet others, they can ask questions, discover key points of contact and make their first connections. The TU Wien community will also be introducing itself and showing what else there is to discover beyond the lecture theatres and lectures.

And because a successful start also needs a break, food trucks are waiting for visitors in Hof 1 – one meal is on us.

Welcome to the Bachelor programme: Settling in, getting to know the place, and getting started

On 14 September 2026, the focus will be on starting your Bachelor’s degree. As well as important information about your studies and everyday university life, students will have the chance to get to know the degree programme, the faculty and future fellow students.

A particular highlight is the keynote speech by a TU Wien alumnus, who will share personal insights into the journey from university to working life.
