Maintenance on TUnet Internet connection security systems

The work will be carried out in a maintenance window on Monday, June 21, 2021 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

A necessary software upgrade must be carried out on the Internet perimeter firewall system of TU Wien in order to activate extended security functions. According to the manufacturer, this process is completely uninterruptible, so the TU Wien's internet connection should always be available during the upgrade process.

We endeavour to keep the interruptions as short as possible and thank you for your understanding.

If you suspect a problem after the maintenance work has been completed, please first check the network settings of your system or contact the IT contact person of your institute. Also check the TUnet status, opens an external URL in a new window and currently listed messages on TU.it Home.
