New product Overleaf/ShareLaTeX

The cooperation platform Overleaf / ShareLaTeX is now available as a free product for employees and students

In the course of digitization measures, online collaboration and the support of DistanceLearning and work@home, TU.it enables employees to use OverLeaf / ShareLaTeX as a campus solution.

As an inter-university cooperation platform, this service is offered as a cloud solution. The approximately 800 existing ShareLaTeX-free users within TUW can be consolidated. This cloud solution, hosted by AWS, is an external cloud in accordance with the cloud guidelines of the Vienna University of Technology and has been approved for use by management. As long as no personal or information security-relevant data is stored, this service can be used with all features.

OverLeaf / ShareLaTeX is now available as a free product for employees and students. Details of the advantages of the Pro version as well as tips for switching from a possibly already existing free version to the TU Wien Pro Version can be found on the product pages of the Campussoftware, opens an external URL in a new window or Studentensoftware.
