Switching the Kubernetes infrastructure from TUgitLab

On Wednesday, 8.2.2023, the underlying Kubernetes cluster of TUgitLab will be renewed. This changeover is somewhat more complex, since the Gitaly data must also be synced and the service gets a new IP address.

The work will start at about 8:00 a.m. and is expected to be finished by noon. During this time the service will be mostly unavailable. As soon as the reconstruction is finished, we ask our customers - as far as possible - to test the new system immediately, in order to be able to switch back in time in case of unsolvable serious problems.

Furthermore, we would like to point out to delete the local DNS cache on the client after the changeover, in case you cannot reach the service afterwards.
