Maintenance of server housing network at location BFU2C01

Installation of software updates on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. At the server housing location BFU2C01, connection interruptions of approximately 5-10 minutes may occur during this period.

Due to a software issue, it is necessary to install software updates on several switches in the TU Wien server housing network and restart them. During the specified period, there will therefore be a connection interruption of approximately 5-10 minutes to your components housed at the BFU2C01 server housing location while the switches are rebooting. Connections configured as LACP bonds will not be affected as long as they are connected to different switches.

No changes to your end systems are necessary. If you suspect a problem after the maintenance work has been completed, please first check the network settings of your system or contact the IT contact person at your institute.
