Maintenance of server housing network on December 29, 2025 (location DC01G10)

On Monday, December 29, 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., software upgrades will be performed on the TU Wien server housing network. During this period, your components housed at the DC01G10 server housing location may experience connection interruptions of approximately 5-10 minutes.

Due to a software issue, it is necessary to install software upgrades on several switches in the TU Wien server housing network and restart them. During the specified period, there will therefore be a connection interruption of approximately 5-10 minutes to your components housed at the DC01G10 server housing location while the switches are rebooting. Connections configured as LACP bonds will not be affected as long as they are connected to different switches.

No changes to your end systems are necessary. If you suspect a problem after the maintenance work has been completed, please first check the network settings of your system or contact the IT contact person at your institute.
