Network restructuring work

Friday, September 25, starting at 4:00 p.m. through Saturday, September 26, at 4:00 p.m. in the DA, DB, and DC sections / Ground Floor, 1st, and 2nd floors at the Freihaus Campus / Wiedner Hauptstraße 8-10

As part of renovation work, the consolidation of our network infrastructure, and the urgently needed expansion of Wi-Fi capacity, a renovation is scheduled to take place in our DB01B07 distribution room.

This renovation will affect connections in building areas DA, DB, and DC - on floors EG, 01, and 02 - at the Freihaus Campus, Wiedner Hauptstraße 8–10.

Since this renovation cannot be carried out without interruptions, the TUNET service in the affected area will be unavailable from Friday, September 25, at 4:00 p.m. until Saturday, September 26, at 4:00 p.m.

The following will be affected:

  • Computers and network-enabled devices (printers, etc.)
  • Telephones
  • Media technology (lecture halls)
  • Electronic access systems
  • Wi-Fi
