Network restructuring work

From Thursday, April 23 until possibly Friday, April 24, affecting the following building areas: DAU1, DAEG, DBU2, DBU1, DBEG, DCU2, DCU1

As part of our network infrastructure upgrade and consolidation, we are about to carry out restructuring work in our DBU1B10 distribution room.

This work will affect approximately 45 connections in the DAU1, DAEG, DBU2, DBU1, DBEG, DCU2 and DCU1 building areas.

During the restructuring, the following planned interruptions will occur gradually (i.e. with a time delay for each connection):

  • Computers and network-enabled devices (printers, etc.): expected connection downtime of approx. 15–30 seconds each.
  • Telephones: expected downtime of 2–3 minutes per handset.
  • Electronic access systems: expected downtime of approx. 15–30 seconds each.
  • Cameras: expected downtime of up to 5 minutes
  • Wi-Fi: expected downtime of 2–3 minutes per access point.

The outages are expected to take place all day on Thursday 23 April from 08:00; if necessary, we are reserving all day on Friday 24 April as a backup date.
