Tuesday, September 15, 2026, and Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Maintenance on Türk Telekom's fiber-optic lines

As part of a technology upgrade, Türk Telekom's glass panels are being respliced and fitted with E2000 connectors.

The upgrade affects fiber-optic connections throughout the TU campus. Thanks to redundant routes provided by other providers, there should be no service outages.

No changes to your end systems are necessary. If you suspect a problem after the maintenance work is complete, please first check your system’s network settings or contact your department’s IT representative. Also check the TUnet status and any current announcements on the Campus IT homepage. If problems persist, send an email to help@it.tuwien.ac.at or contact us at 58801-42002.
