Software upgrade for backup internet router during the day

On September 10, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m., the software of the Internet router responsible for the backup Internet connection of TU Wien will be updated.

The update is necessary to ensure that we receive support from the manufacturer in the event of any problems with the router.

The backup Internet connection will only be used if there are problems with the primary Internet connection. Accordingly, there should be no interruptions to the TU Wien's Internet connection during this maintenance work.

The upgrade of the primary Internet connection will then take place on September 17, 2025.
