Service outage Internet access - Update

Incident status: in remedy

A defective 100G transceiver pair is causing instabilities in the SW-B-1 backbone switch. Replacement 100G transceivers have already been prepared; currently the BB team is going to the grain market and replacing the defective transceivers. After that, a reboot of the BB Switch (first one chassis, then the second chassis) is necessary. The affected 100G link is a system link between the two chassis, which means the whole switch is affected.
We hope to have stable operation again after replacing the transceivers; this should be done by about 11:00 am.

Update 11:15: The disruption should be resolved; we are now monitoring the services more closely until midday.
