u:book Support

Service description

TU Wien participates in the u:book service at Vienna University (http://www.ubook.at). "u:books" are high-quality laptops, tablets and 2-in-1 convertibles with a comprehensive range of services. They can be obtained from us at subsidised prices twice a year during a four-week sales window which always comes at the start of the semester. In collaboration with the manufacturers and sales partners, the offered models are re-configured and budgeted from sales window to sales window, to cope with the demands of research, teaching and study. Criteria such as weight and battery life, mechanical toughness, resolution and screen quality, etc., play a decisive role.

TU provides a two-day u:book information desk within the sales window. Participating companies are on site, ready to answer questions and help you decide what to buy.
