The campus software must be ordered online, opens an external URL in a new window. Based on this order, the software is released and can be installed independently or by your administrator. The order can also be placed by a person responsible for the license on behalf of a member of the organizational unit. Licenses should always be ordered for the person using the software. Licenses for devices that cannot be directly assigned to a person should be ordered for the 'organization user'.

Once the software has been released by the person entitled to release it, the software can be obtained. Details can be found on the product page and in the readme file on the Software Distribution Server (SWD).

Depending on the product and manufacturer, we receive updates and new versions sooner or (significantly) later than single end customers. Special education versions often appear up to months after the commercial version. Please note that for products marked "selfupdate", updates must be downloaded directly from the end customer (usually within the software itself). It can also happen that we are not informed of a new version. In case of doubt, please contact us via Ticket, opens an external URL in a new window.

A product is not available to you until it has been approved by the person(s) authorized to approve it. Through the ordering process, you select the approver(s) who will be notified by email.
