In order for you (as an address manager) to quickly reach an upTUdate authorization group that you can use as an email distributor, we recommend the following procedure for a fictitious upTUdate authorization group Ennn.specialfunction:

  1. As the address manager for the structural element (organizational unit) Ennn, create an upTUdate authorization group Ennn.specialfunction, to whose participants emails are to be distributed (creation of an authorization group).
  2. Email upTUdate@tuwien.ac.at with the name of the upTUdate authorisation group (Ennn.specialfunction) you wish to use as an email distribution list and the email address you wish to use (specialfunction@inst.tuwien.ac.at). If necessary, you can also have the "Send-as" right set for you.
  3. As soon as you have received notification from TU.it that the configurations have been made, your upTUdate authorization group Ennn.specialfunction (worldwide) can be reached via the email address specialfunction@inst.tuwien.ac.at
